FROM THE SEA TO THE WRIST: LET’S RECYCLE
Introduced in 2020 as a concept watch, the Diver NET diving watch was swiftly brought to market, thus attesting Ulysse Nardin’s innovative spirit while embodying a fundamental mission dear to the Maison: sustainability.

Collaborating with high-tech start-ups and environmental advocates, the brand has invested its expertise into finding new innovative materials and technologies to raise awareness about environmental responsibility.

NYLO®
Fil & Fab is a French company based in Brest, dedicated to the upcycling of fishing nets.
The start-up recovers disused nets in French fishing ports and recycles them in the form of polyamide granules called Nylo®.
Together with the Carbonium ®, the Nylo® is used to produce the side-parts and case-back of the Diver 44MM NET.

CARBONIUM®
Lavoisier Composite is a French manufacturer company that develops and produces a wide range of innovative materials with low environmental footprint.
Carbonium® is made using offcuts from the aircraft manufacturing process, therefore having 40% less environmental impact than other carbon composites.
It is a high-performance material that reveals the inner beauty of the organic pattern formed by carbon fibers that have a diameter of only 7 µm.
Its strength-to-lightness ratio is incomparable, and its superb marbling effect makes each case an absolutely unique piece.
THE SUSTAINABLE MANUFACTURE SPORTS WATCH
The Diver collection serves as a sustainability innovation lab, incorporating a variety of upcycled and recycled materials. This approach reflects Ulysse Nardin’s dedication to environmental responsibility and the ongoing pursuit of sustainable luxury.
