Ulysse Nardin’s visionary spirit surprises once again with its technological innovations and daring designs by introducing the new Blast Free Wheel Marquetry, presenting silicon as a material that is not only ultra-technical but also artistic. The mechanism of the mysterious Blast Free Wheel Marquetry dances weightlessly over marquetry in blue-toned silicon – a dazzlingly bold statement.

The Marine Torpilleur Tourbillon

With an open sapphire crystal case back, this polished and satin finished stainless steel model is completed by a fluted bezel. The white “Grand Feu” enamel dial produced by Donzé Cadrans proudly displays the power reserve at 12 o’clock. The UN 128 self winding manufacture calibre powers the flying tourbillon with constant power escapement, which is fitted with a flying silicon anchor, a system patented by Ulysse Nardin.

The Blast Tourbillon Dragon

The rose gold dragon, engraved and micro-painted entirely by hand, is a testament to elite artistry and skill, demanding four days of craftsmanship – three days for the engraving, and one for the painstaking application of gradated shades of red, orange and yellow. Every 3D aspect is modelled and rendered with utmost precision, from the scales of its rippling tail to its gleaming whiskers and the individual details of its claws.
